Getting clients as a brand-new Pinterest manager can feel like an uphill battle. Trust me, I’ve been there, and I know exactly how challenging it can be.

In this post, I’m sharing the strategies that helped me build my client base quickly – I was fully booked within two weeks – so you can fast-track your success too.

My Early Days As A Pinterest Manager

The first thing I realised as a new Pinterest Manager in 2019 was that finding clients wasn’t going to be easy. It was such a daunting task that I nearly quit before I’d even got started.

How was I supposed to find my audience when I was so new?

Instagram and Facebook were notoriously slow-growth if you didn’t know what you were doing… I mean, that’s exactly why I’ve specialised in Pinterest, after all!

Stepping out of my comfort zone, I decided I needed to go and find my clients instead of waiting for them to come to me.

That’s right. I turned to cold emailing and it wasn’t long before I started getting interest from people I’d love to work with.

  • Within a matter of days, I had signed a couple of people up to my Beta services.
  • Within a couple of weeks I was fully booked and I was still working my full time job 😵‍💫

It was a huge learning curve going from 0 – book closed in a matter of weeks but I want to show you that it is possible, and that cold emailing isn’t as scary as people make it seem!

A Faster Path To Success

Knowing how difficult it can be to find those first few clients, I decided to create a resource that would make the process easier for others.

That’s why I wrote How to Gain New Clients for Your Pinterest Business, a guide that shares all the cold emailing strategies I used to quickly grow my client list and book out my services.

Even if you’re a seasoned Pinterest manager, I believe this guide can teach you something new.

Here are a few key takeaways from the guide that have made a significant difference in my own business:

Avoiding The Spam Trap

We’ve all received those spammy cold emails that go straight to the trash or Spam folder!

How does Gmail even do that?

Well, in my guide, I explain the parameters that can get your emails caught up in spam filters, and how to craft personalised, targeted emails that stand out in your potential client’s inbox and increase your chances of getting a response.

Finding Your Ideal Clients

One of the biggest challenges as a new Pinterest Manager is knowing where to find the right clients.

With my Outreach Flowchart, you can identify, find and connect with your ideal clients in a genuine and effective way. Taking the guesswork completely out of the equation.

Staying Organised & A Quick Hack

Cold emailing is all about consistency. You might get somewhere sending just 1 or 2 emails a day, but if I’m honest… it’s unlikely.

There were days where I was sending close to 50 emails in order to increase the chances of hearing back… but I wasn’t doing them one at a time, god that would take hours!

In the How To Gain Clients eBook, I share the free emailing system I used for keeping everything organised and legal, from tracking leads to following up automatically, so you can streamline your outreach process.

This process saved me hours while sending emails to the right people, without being spammy. So if you’re looking for a cold emailing hack.. You’ll find it here!

What to Include in Your Emails, And What To Avoid!

It’s easy to spot a spam email, right? So you want to make sure you’re not including any of their key elements when writing a cold pitch to a potential client… but do you know exactly what those elements are?

In my guide, not only do I break down the 5 essential elements of a successful cold email, I also share the common mistakes to avoid.

Researching your potential clients and writing in a friendly, engaging tone can make all the difference when it comes to genuine cold outreach vs spam.

Using Proven Templates

Why start from scratch when you can use templates that work?

The How To Gain New Clients eBook includes three cold email templates that are easy to customise and highly effective for converting leads into clients.

It’s the exact wording I used when reaching out to my clients, and guess what… I was complimented on it more than once by the people I emailed.
